What is it about yourself that you don’t know?
Often times people will tell me they know themselves but when they are challenged with a few coaching tools they discover they don’t know themselves as well as they thought. Pride is mentioned all over scripture and can be the cancer that can takes us out of Humility, Pride can keep us focused on ourselves and can come in two forms: I am not good enough or I am better than. When we shift out of Pride of oneself then we become open to seeing our hidden strengths and blind spots. We must be able to gage where we are in our walk with Christ. Discovery is a tool that will reveal where we are so we can set a goal to where we want to be.
“They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God†(2Timothy 3:4 NLT)
